okay okay okay. i got swept away in a tizzy of awesome words the other day (on NPR). i decided i wanted to see speed racer - and then this morning i decided that i didn't.
bad bad bad bad bad bad reviews. 36 on metacritic :(, 1.5 stars in People magazine... blah blah blah.
however, i know that i'm known to like sub-par, but entertaining movies -- for instance, i really like 27 Dresses which accumulated a 47 on metacritic -- i just can't help it.
but, since i was iffy before the NPR snippet, i'm going back to being decidedly against Speed Racer.
and i do feel badly about this.
