welp, i'm sure you all know. but earthquake city this morning around 5:49. Andy screamed at me to wake up and scared the be-jesus right out me. pretty cool, though, huh? my dresser was shaking pretty fierce, my little owl jewelry holder was just a shaking... anyways, i feel proud to have been in an earthquake.

so, today in class the kids got to choose some song lyrics to analyze as poetry. and this one kid, let's call him tommy for anonymity's sake, chose queen's timeless classic, we will rock you.

tommy is earnest, kind-hearted, and hard-working. worried that he's not understanding part of the assignment, he calls me over in the middle of class to see if he correctly identified the theme of the song:

"The big dog is going to rock the world with songs out of this world."

oh yes, tommy. yes indeed.

well guys, i made a very important decision today. this decision may come back to haunt me later but i think it is for the best. interested in hearing what it is? ok, here it goes. i decided to today that i don't like Radiohead anymore. i will no longer listen to them. for starters, i think they are bozos. for entrees, thom yorke is a goof ball. and for dessert, they don't do anything for me. So BOOm Radiohead. get the hell out of my life!

some of you are probably thinking this is a bad choice but i'm not here to argue and i've made up my mind.
